Professor of Robotics, in the School of Mechanical Engineering, University of Leeds and executive chair of the EPSRC UKRAS network, a strategic collaboration of 33 UK Universities with excellence in robotics research. He is a founding member of the UK Robotics Growth Partnership (RGP) that advises on UK wide strategy on robotics to the government. Fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineering. Director of the EPSRC National Facility for Innovative Robotic systems at the University of Leeds, developed to physically create robust robotic devices.
